The site is located on the foothills of mountains, on the way to Lonavala's popular tourist destination, Duke's Nose. It is surrounded by the Naval base, mountains and the nearby village.
The design intent was to create a resort nested in the nature and built in natural materials. The resort includes several individual units for guests, common dining area and a mini horse grazing field.
Every unit is fused between two irregularly orientated, yet coherent, monolithic stone walls, maintaining privacy from the adjacent units, and punched with openings to have the opulent views of the surrounding mountains and fields.
Together, all the differently orientated stone walls form a dramatic arrangement, creating an interesting play of light & shadow, throughout the day.
Inside, each unit has a double height bedroom space that opens to a splash pool and the serene foothills of the existing Mountainous Range.
