Architecture-Bungalow Renovation

Bungalow Renovation

The property is in the outskirts of Lonavala, adjacent to the old Mumbai-Pune highway. It naturally sits within a dense layer trees & vegetation. The existing Bungalow was G+1, built using load-bearing exposed stone walls & having sloping roof slab in RCC.
The scope of work included the redesign of the Entrance space according to Vastu, Interior planning, building a servant unit and Landscape development of the entire site. The property is planned into zones like bungalow structure, outdoor dining, lawn, vegetable garden, servant unit and parking.

Interior Planning
For Interiors, we used Makrana white marble flooring – the same precious stone that is used to construct the iconic Taj Mahal. Lounge and library area use wooden flooring, whereas, wall and ceiling are finished in white paint, apart from the naturally exposed stone walls.

Outdoor Landscape Planning
Landscape development compromises of the party lawn, jogging track, outdoor dining area, vegetable and fruit garden and a deck overlooking the surroundings.

Area: Bungalow 3500 Sq.Ft. and Landscape 12000 Sq.Ft.
